Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool's players were solely at fault for their 4-1 thrashing by Tottenham.
The Reds were annihilated by in form Harry Kane, as the England international bagged a brace at Wembley, to leave the Merseyside outfit ninth in the Premier League.
Kane opened the scoring in the fifth minute as he capitalised on a gap in the Reds back line, before adding the fourth in the second half.
Son Heung-min and Dele Alli also found the net for Spurs, but Klopp insists it was a case of his side were terrible rather than Tottenham's proficiency.
"The whole game the whole result was all our fault - Tottenham was good, they needed to be good, but we made it much too easy for them," the German told Sky Sports.
"The first goal was a little throw in and we are not really there. It was just really bad, bad, bad defending.
“If I am involved in this situation on the pitch, Harry cannot get the ball.
“I could have been out there in my trainers and they wouldn’t have scored.”
The second, a counter attack, when the ball passes Dejan Lovren it is already too late.
"Coming back in the game with the goal we had our chances, but it's nothing to talk about today.
"The third one, it's a completely open situation. We make the foul, again, all our fault. The fourth - second ball and third ball for Tottenham, their desire was bigger than ours.
"The game was finished then. We came here for a result and had not one second to get a result."
